Now ... the end of sucker rod problems for your windmills with the new Virden fiberglass sucker rod. We have made exhaustive tests for the strength and durability and life of these fiberglass rods, and find they are extremely light weight, and the chrome connecting couplings eliminate rust completely. They are very easy to trim to the necessary lengths needed;
have a higher tensile strength. Over long years of service, these sucker rods will not swell, warp or splinter. All joints are exactly 20 ft. in length, absolutely straight and true.

The use of Virden's famous sucker rod guides (see drawing at left) makes it possible for the lightweight fiberglass rods to work so well in your windmill. Sucker rod guides should be used every 10 ft. on the string of fiberglass rod, to assure lifetime use of the fiberglass rod and pipe.
